Haddaway Named Humanities Institute Scholar in Residence
Rebecca Haddaway has been named a Center & Institutes Humanities Dissertation Release Graduate Scholar for Fall 2023 by the Humanities Institute at Penn State. As a scholar-in-residence, she will be working on her dissertation project, Geographical Visualities of Race and Health in Antebellum U.S. Culture, which considers the role of abolitionism in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century medicine.
